Note

This page is carefully researched but does not replace individual legal advice.

Provider and contracting party

The provider of friendlyuse is Peter Csipkay, Starnberg near Munich, Germany. The complete postal address must be added before publication.

If friendlyuse is operated or billed under another trade name such as "Mini Paste", that name must be clearly added here and in the imprint. No such assignment is verifiably documented in the current project materials.

Scope of services

friendlyuse provides an accessibility widget that website operators can embed via a script on registered domains. The scope of services also includes domain management, widget configuration, usage statistics, visitor metering, plan management, and an automated accessibility scanner.

friendlyuse is an assistance and analysis tool. It does not replace a full WCAG audit, a technical review of all content, or legal advice. No specific legal compliance is guaranteed.

Registration and customer account

Customers must provide accurate and current information and keep their login credentials confidential. The customer is responsible for all activities carried out via their account.

Domains may only be registered if the customer is authorised to embed the widget on the relevant website or to scan the relevant URL.

Embedding the script

The customer embeds the provided script on their website at their own responsibility. The domain token must not be used abusively or on unregistered domains.

The customer remains responsible for their website, its content, privacy notices, cookie or device-related notices, and the legal compliance of their own website.

Plans, visitor limits and payment

Plans are based on unique monthly visitors. Repeated visits by the same visitor within a month are not double-counted under the product concept.

Exceeding a plan limit does not automatically disable the widget. friendlyuse may recommend an upgrade in the dashboard or, in the event of persistent and substantial overuse, require a plan adjustment.

Paid plans are processed via Stripe. Prices, payment intervals, taxes, and billing information are set out in the pricing overview displayed at the time and in the checkout.

Scanner

The scanner performs automated checks of individual URLs. Automated scanner results can only detect a subset of potential accessibility issues and do not replace a manual review.

The customer must not use the scanner for unlawful, abusive, security-compromising, or disproportionately burdensome queries.

Availability and changes

friendlyuse is operated with reasonable care. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed in this launch version unless a separate SLA has been agreed.

friendlyuse may modify, develop, or restrict features to the extent that the legitimate interests of customers are given appropriate consideration.

Liability

friendlyuse is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and under mandatory statutory provisions.

In cases of ordinary negligence, friendlyuse is only liable for breaches of material contractual obligations and only up to the typically foreseeable damage. Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, and legal compliance risks of the customer's website is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Term and termination

Free plans may be terminated at any time. Paid plans may be cancelled or changed in accordance with the terms set out in the checkout or customer portal.

After termination, the widget may be deactivated. The customer is responsible for removing the script from their website if it is no longer intended to load.

B2B focus and consumer notice

friendlyuse is aimed primarily at traders, businesses, associations, agencies, and other website operators. If orders by consumers are permitted, cancellation rights, consumer information, and checkout processes must be separately added before go-live.
