Add friendlyuse to WordPress

Easiest with a plugin for custom header code. This works with classic themes and block themes.

Install a plugin for header code, for example WPCode.
Under Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste the script into the “Header” field and save.
Reload the page: the button appears in the bottom right.

Note: Do not add the code to the parent theme directly. The next theme update would remove it. Without a plugin, use a child theme.

Good to know

Caching plugins and CDNs often still serve the old page. Clear the cache once after installing.

Check with your privacy team whether your consent tool needs to allow the script. More in the widget privacy notice.

The token applies to the domain you enter in the dashboard. So check the installation on exactly that domain.
